This is not goodbye, says Pierre at farewell reception

The Ambassador of France to Brunei Darussalam, Christian Ramage, hosted a farewell reception for former president of the French Bruneian Business Association (FBBA) Pierre Imhof who has also retired from Baiduri Bank as Chief Executive Officer at the French Ambassador’s residence in Kota Batu..
In his speech, the ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for Pierre’s contributions during the past 17 years as FBBA president.
He described Pierre as a valuable asset to the FBBA who forged business relations and new partnerships among the French and local business community since the association’s establishment. Pierre thanked the ambassador for supporting the FBBA and hoped to see more French companies interested to work on a joint venture with their Bruneian counterparts, through the FBBA even without his leadership. “This is not a goodbye, I will see you all again,” said Pierre.
Among those present were Chief Executive Officer of QAF Sdn Bhd Albert Lau, General Manager and Country Chair of Total E&P Brunei Vincent Dutel, elected as the new President of FBBA, as well as guests and members of the French community residing in Brunei.
