Visit of an important EU delegation to Brunei on 7th and 8th February 2017
As president of EU during this current semester, the French Embassy in Brunei has organised and welcomed the two day visit of the EU delegation to Brunei.
An important EU delegation, conducted by the ambassador of EU Head delegation based at Jakarta, Mr Vincent Guérend, including ten non-resident ambassadors of EU members states and three resident ambassadors, have made a two day visit to Brunei on 7th and 8th February 2017, for the first time in the history of the relations between EU and Brunei.
The purpose of this visit was to reinforce the partnership between Brunei and EU on the Political, Economic, Security and Defence levels, as the EU represents a key partner of ASEAN.

Jaya Haji Yusof, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Dato Paduka Dr Hj Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Finance, Awang Adi Shamsul bin Haji Sabli, Permanent Secretary, Industry, Ministry of Energy and Industry
It had also the opportunity of meetings with business personalities and representatives of the civil society.
