Return of five Bruneian students who completed their Master’s degrees in France.

Total and the French embassy paid a tribute to five Bruniean students who graduated in French universities. Aizat, Chantelle, Heather, Malik and Yi Sern spent seven years in France, including a 14-month pre-university programme designed to help them with the French Language as well in understanding the French educational system. Prior to this, the students are also provided with an intensive French Language programme supported by Alliance Francaise in Brunei.

They received their Master’s degree in Geology, or Chemical Engineering from prestigious French universities and all five of them were recruited by Total when they came back to Brunei at the end of 2018. The scholarship was funded by the Total Education Scholarship Scheme (TESS).
Five other Bruneian students are still studying in France and they will come back to Brunei in 2020.
