On the occasion of the celebration of the French National day, the French embassy, the French Bruneian Business Association (FBBA) and the Alliance Francaise Brunei Darussalam (AFBD) joined forces to promote petanque in Brunei Darussalam during the French Petanque Day at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
The petanque meet attracted teams from AFBD, FBBA and Sport School. A workshop by the Brunei Darussalam Petanque Federation (BDPF) and a petanque demonstration by the national team were conducted.
The French Ambassador H.E. Christian Ramage also presented a special gift of boules from top brand Obut to the winner.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, BDPF and TotalEnergies.
