During the meeting with Dr Joyce Teo Siew Yean, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Vice President (Global Affairs) and with professors of UBD, several collaboration projects were discussed as exchange of students, joint-lectures or joint field research works.

INALCO, known as Langues O’, was founded in 1795 and has its roots back to 1669 when Colbert, Minister for Finances and for the Navy, decided to open the School of Languages. In 1795, Malay was one of the four languages taught at the school, along with Arabic, Persian and Turkish.
