Culinary contest organized by Alliance Française !

The first-ever French Gourmet Culinary contest wtook place on Sunday 8 December at Mabohai Complex and was organized by Alliance Française Brunei and the Director, Ayrine Jammes.
Two culinary students from Laksamana College of Business were selected as champions of this first-ever French Gourmet Cooking Contest.

Eight teams of amateur chefs and culinary students from Brunei as well as Sabah (two teams) participated in the competition.

French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Christian Ramage was present. Among the judges were High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei Darussalam Jeanette Stovel; Ambassador of Russia to Brunei Darussalam Vladimir Goncharenko; spouse of French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Brigitte Ramage; and Associate Professor from the Institute of Asian Studies of Universiti Brunei Darussalam Dr Jeremy Jammes.

The winning team received prizes of their choice from a pool of culinary and kitchen utensils.
